Management and marketing of single family properties owned by or in the custody of HUD. Duties include management, maintenance, and marketing of single family properties as well as oversight of sales and closing activities. Contracts will be awarded for services in 3 geographic areas covering: North Carolina and South Carolina (Area 1), Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi (Area 2), and Maryland (area 3). Proposals are requested on an unrestricted basis; however, the RFP contains a cascading preference for award to 8(a) firms first and to small businesses second. Contract duration will be a one year base period with three one year options. The SIC Code is 6514 and the size standard is $5 million. RFP R-PHI-00616 will be available approximately 15 days after the publication of this notice. Pre-proposal conference(s) will be conducted approximately 10 days after the RFP is issued and initial proposals will be due to HUD at least 30 days after the proposal is issued. The approximate date for proposal submission is January 13, 2000.
