The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, quality control, safety prevention, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide grounds maintenance and tree trimming services and other incidental work. The contract is a combination firm fixed-price/indefinite quantity contract. SIC Code 0782 applies. The contract term will be a base period of one year plus four option years. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 60 months. If the Government does not award a follow-on contract in time, the Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. In either case, the Government will not synopsize the options when exercised. This contract will replace three contracts for similar services awarded in 1995, 1996, and 1997 for $450,600 (firm fixed-price/indefinite quantity per year), $17,977 (firm fixed-price per year), and $1,387,645 ((firm fixed-price/indefinite quantity per year), respectively. We will include information about the current contracts and the incumbent contractors (e.g., value of last option exercised, firm name, address, etc.) with the solicitation package.
