The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office, Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking request for construction for the Federal Correctional Complex in Coleman, Florida. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment to construct the following: 32,293 sf pre-engineered metal building addition to the existing complax warehouse (warehouse expansion 16,442 sf, shop area 15,851 sf) 12,931 sf pre-engineered metal building addition to the existing UNICOR warehouse, 3,600 sf Armory/ lockshop/Mailroom building and all related sites and utility system work to support the above referenced structures. Also, as a add alternate, the Contractor shall provide a separate price for a 7,978 sf pre-engineered metal roof structure adjacent to the warehouse addition. The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining security measures and standards by the Bureau of prisons for prison environment. The magnitude for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The plans and specifications will be available on or around december 27, 1999. The proposal due date is January 27, 2000 The contract performance period is estimated to be approximately 365 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.
