Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract (via Memorandums Of Understanding)with two Veterans Services Organizations -- the Amercian Legion and the Vietnam Veterans of America to outreach to local, state, and federal Department of Corrections to identify and refer eligible women veterans on work release, probation, or parole for VA's psychosocial rehabilitation services. The purpose of the contract is to supplement the outreach efforts of VA staff to eligible women veterans for referral to Compensated Work Therapy programs. The Department of Veterans Affairs has identified the American Legion and the Veitnam Veterans of America as entities capable of providing outreach services to identify and refer eligible women veterans for VA's psychosocial rehabilitation services.
