The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, (NAWCAD) Lakehurst, NJ intends to issue a contract to Fiberoptics Technology, Inc. of Pomfret, CT for specialized fiberoptics equipment required for shipboard installation of the Integrated Fresnal Lens Optical Landing System (IFLOLS). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. The IFLOLS system is currently in production at Raytheon with a validation unit being built in-house at NAWCAD, Lakehurst. Any interested parties must show capability evidence to provide identical parts and services for the validation model as for the production IFLOLS systems within the required schedule. See Note 22.
