H -- QUALITY CONTROL, TESTING AND INSPECTION SERVICES SOL DAAD17-00-T-0025 DUE 121210 POC Bonita Zander, Purchasing Agent 410-278-6515, Jeanine Worthington, Contracting Officer 410-278-6514 The contractor shall perform Quality Control Testing of paints under the Qualified Products List (QPL) Program as well as formulate and test Chemical Agent Resistant Coatings (CARC) and ammunition coatings for army applications. All work shall be performed in Building 4600 at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD under the QPL Program. Both wet and dry samples of paint shall be evaluated using appropriate military specifications and ASTM procedures and requirements. All data shall be recorded and maintained. Period of Performance will be 01 January thru 31 December 2000. It is the intent of the Government to award a contract on a sole source basis to Pauline Smith, Havre de Grace, MD pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. The proposed contract action is for quality control testing for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government.
