This is NOT a presolicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5, but is a Market Survey to identify sources that possess the capabilities to accomplish Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM) on F-15 aircraft located in the Pacific Theater. This effort includes maintenance of records, receipt of aircraft at maintenance facility (handling, inventory and preservation), finishing, depreservation, servicing, acceptance/functional test flight, post flight, preparation for ferry, depainting and painting, and corrosion control, in addition to the modification and normal maintenance requirements. The work must be accomplished at a location in the Pacific Theater. A brief description and a Contractor Capability Survey are available on the web at http://pkec.robins.af.mil. This notice does not constitute an Invitaiton for Bid or Request for Proposal and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their participation in this survey. The level of security clearance required to receive a solicitation has not yet been determined. Therefore, participation in this survey may not necessarily result in your company being able to participate in the solicitation.
