R -- REAL ESTATE TITLE RESEARCH SOL DACW29-00-R-0042 POC Glenda Perez 504-862-1665 DESC: The U.S. Army Engineer Dist, New Orleans, has a requirement for Real Estate Abstract, Title Research for the New Orleans District Recovery Plan in support of Southeast Louisiana Project Areas. The Corps intends to award three (3) indefinite quantity delivery contracts with four (4) optional years. Each contract will contain a minimum of 20 each (abstracts of title and title ownership) with the option to order up to 1,000 each (abstract of title and title research) per item, per year. Each award will be based on the best value to the Government. The contract area is Southeast Louisiana. The Parishes where the title research will take place is located in the Request for Proposal. The U.S. Department of Justice requires a minimally qualified contractor to be attorneys at law or professional official abstractors qualified and authorized by law to prepare and certify to abstracts in the state of Louisiana; have no interest in the land to be acquired; and not be related to the land owner. Evaluation criteria is detailed in solicitation. The selection criteria are listed in descending order of importance and are as follows. 1.& 2. Specialized experience in abstracting title and obtaining ownership data. 3. Capacity to perform work within time limits. 4. Location and geographical proximity to the project area. 5. Past experience in providing quality products within time limit required. Each award will be based on the based value to the Government. Place of performance, Southeast Louisiana.
