Defense Supply Center Richmond is issuing a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items within the F-404 engine family. Prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The request for proposal (RFP) number SP0-400-00-R-0626 is used for this solicitation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. This is a sole source (Note 22), unrestricted solicitation for SIC 3724, size 1000 employees, FOB origin to establish a fixed price redetermination, Requirements Type Contract for a 2-year base and includes three 1 year options as described at clause 52.217-9G07 ALTI (I90A). The quantities of supplies specified are estimates only and are not a representation to an offeror that the estimated quantity will be required or ordered, or that conditions affecting requirements will be stable or normal, FAR 16.503. Any supplies to be furnished under this resulting contract shall be ordered by issuance of delivery order by the activities designated in clause 52.211-9G50(F16). Such orders may be issued to the awardee for two years after the date of the award. References to DSCR shall be interpreted to read as the supply centers (DSCR,DSCC,DSCP). Only DSCR items are included at this time, other DoD agencies may be added at a later date. Each supply center will place delivery orders against this requirement contract. A reduction in the production leadtime for each item is requested. IAW clause 252.225-7007 (I142), FSC 29 is subject to the Trade Agreements Act. Fast Pay is not applicable and any reference to it herein should be disregarded. Clause 52.216-19 (I67), paragraphs (b),(c), and (d) are deleted as estimated annual demand is shown for admin. purposes only.
