This is Amendment 001 for RFQ00Q018 regarding questions received for same. Question #1: For Line Item 0006, should the DEC Model No. DEWB1 DEC Brouters be stand alone or for mount in a DEC hub 90? Response: Line Item 0006, DEC Model No. DEWB1 DEC Brouters, are stand alone units. They are noted as DEWB1-N (90-T1). Question #2: For Line Item 0006, the DEC Model No. DEWB1 DEC Brouters, are the DEWB1-** needed for the DEC hub (Models DEWB1-MA or DEWB1-NA) or are stand alone type units (Models DEWB1-AA or DEWB1-DA) needed? Response: The DEC Model No. DEWB1 DEC Brouters under Line Item 0006 are stand alone units. They are noted as DEWB1-N (90-T1). Question #3: For Line Item 0013, the DEC 2GB disk in enclosure with cable, should this disk be in a BA350-KB pedestal, with room for 6 drives, or in a BA353, with room for 3 drives? Response: Line Item 0013, the DEC 2GB disk in enclosure with cable, is an external unit. Therefore, it is not to be in a BA350-KB or a BA353 pedestal. Question #4: For Line Item 0013, the DEC 2GB disk in enclosure with cable, is the drive 5400 RPMS or 7200 RPMS? Response: The drive pertaining to the DEC 2GB disk in enclosure with cable under Line Item 0013 is 7200 RPMS. All other terms and conditions of the original solicitation remain unchanged.
