Lockheed</A> Martin Energy Systems, Inc. (LMES), acting under its Prime Contract No. DE-AC05-84OR21400 with the United States Department of Energy (DOE), Oak Ridge Operations, is soliciting expressions of interest in a design-build project. LMES has a requirement for a $70 million to $90 million Highly Enriched Uranium Materials Facility (HEUMF) to be constructed on the Oak Ridge, Tennessee Y-12 Plant site. It is the intent of LMES to secure a design-build firm (or team) capable of self-performing most of the required design and construction activities for this project and capable of subcontracting for additional specialized expertise as needed.
