10 -- WEAPONS SOURCES SOUGHT DUE 121599 POC Paul Shannon, Contract Specialist, (802)872-4111 The INS is seeking sources who can provide a shotgun with the following characteristics: 12 gauge, pump or semi-automatic action, minimum 5 round magazine capacity plus one in chamber; composite non-folding stock and forearm with non-slip finish; barrel length of 14 to 18 inches with 3 inch chamber and modified choke; 34 to 37 inches overall length; sights to be low-light level tritium or other self-luminous material; unloaded weight of 6 to 8 pounds; trigger pull of 4 to 8 pounds; positive safety; non-reflective weather resistant overall finish. Estimated requirement is 6000 weapons over 3 years. Firms capable of providing this shotgun should respond in writing to ACBPMP no later than 12/15/99. Submit responses in 2 copies including (1) Description of capability, including past experience with related effort; (2) Current company product data, including specifications, drawings, pictures and any commercial/marketing material available; (3) Business size; and (4) Any other pertinent information.
