E-MAIL: Fred Lacey IV, fred.lacey@ramstein.af.mil. ***CHANGES TO THE PREVIOUS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE*** The USAFE Contracting Squadron intends to solicit proposals for a follow-on contract for Facilities Engineering Services for the Kaiserslautern Army Military Community. Functional areas include Operation, Maintenance, Repair and Minor Construction of Real Property, Maintenance and Repair of Installed building Equipment (IBE) and Equipment-In-Place (EIP). The period of performance for the Facilities Engineering Services Contract is for a three month phase-in period, one basic year starting 01 Oct 00, and nine option years. A Cost Plus Award Fee Contract is anticipated. This procurement will have no restrictions as to the prime contractor being an American Firm or to small business. A Pre-Solicitation Conference for the Source Selection was held on 19 Oct 99. Questions and answers, as well as attendance sheets, resulting from this conference will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS), listed below, on or about 10 Dec 99. Copies of the Final RFP will be available through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) http://www.eps.gov/. A copy of the draft solicitation and Statement of Work (SOW) documentation were released on this site on 8 Oct 99. The Final RFP availability date has been changed and will be available on this site on or about 14 Jan 99. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. No telephonic requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. NOTE: It is the offeror_s responsibility to monitor the aforementioned Internet site for the release of the Final RFP, Amendments (if any) and updates. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the Draft Solicitation, Final RFP and Amendments (if any).
