NASA/GRC is hereby soliciting information for potential sources for Sources are being sought for a short term (6 month) proof-of-concept development of a miniature space based router prototype leading to future space-based systems utilizing on-board local area networks interconnecting instruments and data systems. An initial feasibility study shall be conducted followed by a hardware development of the candidate component demonstrating encryption, routing, and local area network functions. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in the CBD and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these cites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
