58 -- COMMUNICATIONS SERVICES, CELLULAR SOL DEA-00-R-0008 POC Alan Knoepfel, 202/307-7819 The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to enter into a contract on a sole source basis with Cellular One, of 7855 Walker Drive, Greenbelt, Maryland 20770 for one [1] year with an estimated annual cost of $30,000. The DEA also receives services from Bell Atlantic Mobile, Nextel, Sprint etc. in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The DEA is entering into a contract with Cellular One on a sole source basis for cellular service based on signal availability in certain geographical areas. Also to be included in this contract shall be orders for cellular service when price analyses using other simplified acquisition procedures indicate that it is in the Government's best interest to do so.
