Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) Kaneohe Bay is anticipating award of a maintenance service contract for lawn equipment (approximately 40 lawnmowers, 6 weedeaters, and 3 power edgers per month; and 8 tillers, 2 augers, 2 hedge trimmers, and 2 gas generators per year). This will be an indefinite delivery requirements type contract effective from date of award (01/00) until 9/30/00. Contractor shall furnish all quality control inspections, labor, materials, including all replacement/repair parts required to perform maintenance and repair of government-owned equipment. Contractor must have satisfactory source of supply for parts. Replacement parts shall be new and of equal quality to manufacturer original parts. Contractor will be required to pickup from and deliver to MCBH Kaneohe Bay weekly. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Award will be made based on best value to the government by evaluating technical ability, past performance, and cost.
