af.mil. Background "A requirement exists on King Fahad Air Base, Taif
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to provide materials, equipment and labor
necessary for the design and modification of specific areas in three
(3) existing aircraft shelter (Dummy Shelter [DS] -7, Group Shelter
[GS]-7 and GS-10) for the activation of the 65th Aircraft Maintenance
Unit at KfdAB Taif, KSA. These requirements are to be reviewed by each
contractor during the site visit. A site will be arranged within three
weeks of the date from issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP). Each
contractor must confirm any measurements, quantities, shapes,
locations, or sizes during the visit. The contractor shall coordinate
all work with the RSAF to minimize disruption to the mission. Weekend
work, defined as Thursdays and Fridays, may be required in order to
minimize disruptions. Any weekend work must be scheduled, coordinated
with RSAF Base O&M, Security and the Contracting officer's Technical
Representative (COTR), and must have the prior approval of the
Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO). The contractor performance
period will not exceed 160 days following Notice to Proceed (NTP). All
items provided by the contractor will include the applicable
manufacturer's warranty and contract warranties for not less than one
