The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office is issuing a solicitation for the provision of up to 6 FTE Critical Care Nurses and up to 5 FTE Medical/Surgical Extended Care Registered Nurses for John Cochran and Jefferson Barracks Divisions of the VA Medical Center, St. Louis, MO. The estimated hours for a one-year period are 12,480 hours for the Critical Care Nurses and 10,400 hours for the Medical/Surgical Extended Care Registered Nurses. These amounts are estimates only. These estimates are based on prior year usages. Actual hours needed will depend on patient census, patient acuity, and availability of VA staff. Nurses will need to be provided for all 3 shifts including weekends and holidays. The number of hours or the number of nurses cannot be guaranteed. Requirements are on an as-needed basis only.
