767-1172 The DLA Administrative Support Center (DASC) intends to issue
a full and open solicitation for Printer hardware maintenance services
on 82 Mannesmann Tally printers, Model MT-6045, 219 Mannesmann Tally
printers, Model MT-645, 150 Mannesmann Tally printers, Model MT-150,
154 C Itoh printers, Model CI-500, 3 Honeywell 1200 LPM printers, 1
Model LB 1515, 1 Model LB 1515-3 and 1 Model LN 1500-109. The
Contractor shall provide four (4) hours on-site response for all of the
printers. The four-hour response time is required for maintenance to be
performed during the Principal Period of Maintenance and Outside the
Principal Period of Maintenance as defined within the Statement of
Work. Maintenance service shall consist of remedial maintenance during
a principle Period of Maintenance (PPM) and Maintenance Outside the
Principle Period of Maintenance (MOPPM). The PPM monthly maintenance
charge shall entitle the Government to on-call maintenance service
Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. Government Holidays, during the
hours of 7:00 A.M. through 5:00 P.M. local time. The MOPPM shall
consist of maintenance service during the hours of 5:01 P.M. through
6:59 A.M., Monday through Friday to include U.S. Government holidays
and Saturday and Sunday. The Government estimates 150 hours per
year/per system of MOPPM for the Gateway 9000 servers. The Contractor
shall bear all expense necessary to ensure that each device (system) or
piece of equipment listed in the requirements section functions to the
OEM, and operates at an acceptable performance level as specified in
the statement of work, unless degradation is caused by the fault or
negligence of the Government. The Contractor shall be provided by DECA
a Certificate of Maintainability certifying all equipment is in good
working order and meets OEM specifications. These printers support the
DECA Interactive Business System (DIBS) worldwide. The Contractor
shall provide all necessary personnel, technical manuals, diagnostic
programs, repair parts, maintenance supplies, tools,test equipment,
transportation, and other related supplies to provide on-site
maintenance services and keep all equipment functioning according to
the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) specification. This action
is for a base year plus three (3) option years. It is anticipated that
a fixed labor rates plus actual travel costs type of contract will be
