Phone 910-394-6258 Design Build a new Spill Control Gate system with
electric motor operator, electrical control data, system valves and
actuators connected to Pope Air Force Base Fire Department.
Retrofitting of existing gates and available controls are recommended.
Gates can be moved to the end of the Pope Air Force Base property
lines, or back upstream about 100' for better fuel control. New control
must work on existing system. Design and Build a new culvert or bridge
between Pope Air Force Base primeter property fence and the Manchester
Road Headwall. Provide obstacle and physical barriers to foot access
through the pipe and Pope Air Force Base boundaries. Design Build new
armored uppercreek banks and place concrete or stones in the bottom of
the ditch. Reduce the distance between slopped banks if necessary and
add landscaping along the stream banks. Ensure the design/build will
conform to standard Air Force Criteria and Air Force
Regulations,instructions, manuals and pamphlets. National and State
codes and regulations for construction and safety will be used where
applicable. Modern construction techniques and Architectural treatment
will be incorporated into the project to obtain both quality and
economy, and to provide a functional, complete, and usable facility.
Architectural compatibility will be maintained. Request for proposal
will be issued on orr about 15 Feb 00. The period of performance will
be include in the proposal. Estimated cost of ths requirement is
between$250,000. and $500,00. Site Visit will be held on 25 Jan 00
