The United States Marshals Service (USMS) has a requirement for towing, storage, maintenance, and disposal of seized/forfeited vehicles in the Eastern District of Virginia (Alexandria, Norfolk and Richmond areas). The vehicles will include production-sized cars, trucks, vans, ATVs, motorcycles, golf carts, dune buggies, snowmobiles, mopeds, etc. It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial itme contract using Commercial Item Procedures with a contract term for a base year with 4 one-year options, for a total of five (5) years. This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. It is anticipated that Solicitation No. MS-00-Q-0007 will be issued on or before January 18, 2000. The estimated response date will be January 28, 2000. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Electronic Posting System (EPS) web site: http://www.eps.gov.
