this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.
Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be
issued. The solicitation number is FA4416 00 T0069. Offerors must
comply with all instructions in FAR 52.212-1 with submittal of their
offer and provide all information. The Standard Industrial
Classification Number is 1521 and the Business Size Standard is $17
million. The proposed contract action here is a small business set
aside. Performance of contract will be at family housing on Andrews
AFB, MD. The following provisions and clauses apply to this
acquisition. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications

Past Performance and Price. Contract award will be based on Price and
Past Performance being equal. FAR 52.237-1, Site Visit. A site visit
will be conducted on 19 Jan 00 at 1400 hrs at Yuma and Command Lane on
Andrews AFB. (POC: Robert Rubien 301-981-1904). STATEMENT of WORK:
Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation,
personnel and supervision to renovate the six storage facilities
attached to the carports of the single family housing units on Command
Lane, Andrews AFB, MD. This SOW shall apply to all six storage
facilities. The contractor shall: 1. Remove the existing paneling up
to, but not to exceed 8 feet in height. Existing serviceable framing
may be utilized. 2. Install a three-inch, level, concrete slab which
will serve as the interior floor of the storage area. The slab will be
constructed in such a manner as to have the finished exterior walls
slightly overhang the slab (approximately 1_) to prevent water from
entering the storage area. 3. Install one interior overhead light and
on/off switch. Switch shall be located inside the entrance door.
RE-route electrical wires as required. 4. Install two sliding doors and
hardware, to include hasp and hinge, to replace the two existing swing
doors. 5. Install exterior paneling and lathe boards to match existing
exterior. The paint scheme shall match the existing color and type. 6.
Clean up the work site at the end of each workday. Trash and building
debris shall be disposed of off base at an authorized landfill. -- --
Scheduling of work for each housing unit will be through the housing

Performance to commence 30 days after the award during the hours of
8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, excluding federal holidays. All offers must be
received by 4:00 PM Eastern Standard time on 26 Jan 00. Offers may be
