Purchasing, tcraft@d11.uscg.mil. This is a combined
synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with
the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information
included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only
solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation
WILL NOT be issued. The Request for Quotation number is
DTCG89-00-Q-JSN001 and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect
through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This acquisition is
set-aside 100% for small business. The SIC Code is 4489. The small
business sized standard is 500 employees. The contract type will be a
firm fixed price purchase order. The period of performance will be 01
March 2000 through 30 September 2000. The Government proposes to
solicit quotes on the following: The contractor shall provide all
labor, materials, and supervision necessary for supplying surface
transportation of up to twelve(12) personnel and 1000 pounds of cargo
from Coast Guard Station Ketchikan to LORAN Station Shoal Cove and
return three(3) times a week (Mon, Tues and Fri). Boat shall leave
Ketchikan at approximate 0900 on Monday and Friday and at 1300 on
Tuesday. Transit time shall be approximately one(1) hour(time will vary
based on boat) and return. Personnel and cargo shall be transported out
of the weather. Cargo will be loaded and unloaded at both docks by
Coast Guard personnel. Cargo may consist of 55 gallon drums of used
oil, anti-freeze, and PCB capacitors. Vessel must comply with all
state, federal, Coast Guard and any/all applicable licenses and
regulations. AWARD: This purchase will be based on the following
criteria: Lowest price for service that meets or exceeds
specifications. CLAUSES: The following FAR provisions apply to this

procurement is subject to the Service Contract Act of 1965, DOL Wage
Determination No. 94-2017, Revision No. 20; dated 07/15/99 is

Employee Class, Boatswain, WG-47000 at $22.92 per hour/Fringe Benefits
