The Contractor shall provide pharmaceutical services in the Delray Beach, Florida area to approximately 3000 beneficiaries as prescribed by the the health care providers at the Delray Beach VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic located at 4800 Litton Blvd., Florida. Contractor shall be required to fill all narcotic prescriptions, as well as medications not stocked by the Clinic, listed on the VHA National Formulary. Contractor may also be required to supply any other medication listed on the VHA National Formulary, which is out of stock or not available to the Clinic. Pharmaceutical services include filling of prescription services and patient education concerning their medication. Contractor shall be within a five (5) mile radius of the Delray Beach Clinic. The base period for this contract shall be March 1, 2000 through February 28, 2001 with three (3) one (1) year options for renewal. The VA intends to award a single contract but reserves the right to make multiple awards if in the Government's best interest. The period of acceptance for quotations is 30 calendar days. Issue date is February 4, 2000. The closing date for all quotations is February 18, 2000 at 2pm local time.
