Services are for male and female mariel cubans who are mentally and/or developmentally disabled, have criminal and or antisocial histories, or substance abuse problems and who are paroled from various detention facilities by the Immigration and Naturalization Services. Services shall be provided in the Los Angeles, (Orange, Riverside, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties) California area. Services include control, custody, accountability and treatment to include furnishing of subsistence and medical services except the expenses of hospital, surgical and prescriptions and dental treatment. Services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Statement of Work "Contract for Residential Mental Health Treatment". A firm fixed price requirements type contract is anticipated with a two year base and three one-year options to renew. Contract Base Period is from October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2002. The estimated number of inmate days for the base period is 21,170 males and 730 females. The estimated inmate days for option years one, two and three is 10,585 males and 365 females.
