CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SEMINAR Boeing Philadelphia will serve as host for
dozens of Delaware Valley contract management specialists on February
22, when the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Contract
Management Association (NCMA) sponsors a National Education Seminar
entitled * The Contracting Professional As A Business manager.* The
seminar will focus on the contract management skills necessary to
survive in the new business environment. Both U.S. government and
industry procurement experts will discuss a variety of timely and
interesting topics during the day-long meeting. *Instructors with real
experience in today*s procurement world will discuss new practices and
provide practical implementation examples that you can apply to your
job, *said NCMA Chapter President Robert Fryling. In addition to
benefiting from the instructors* hands-on experience, all participants
will receive a comprehensive manual covering the seminar topics in
detail,* said Fryling, a Contracts Attorney for Blank Rome Comisky and
McCauley. *Any professional involved in acquisition and contract
management in either the public or private sector, including those
working in contracts, program, finance, accounting, budget or
executives, department heads and supervisors, should consider attending
this seminar.* The seminar will be held at the Boeing Philadelphia
campus, located just off Interstate 95 (North or South) at the Ridley
Park exit (Exit 8) by Stewart Avenue and Industrial Highway (Route
291), in Ridley Park, Pa. All visitors to the facility should register
at the reception desk in Building 3-10 before meeting in the
Auditorium of Building 3-02. Parking will be available nearby.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. The seminar starts promptly at 8:00
a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. Contracting officers, contract
specialists, finance professionals, program managers, subcontract
