Number M1200-new, quantity 500 each. THIS SPECIFICATION DESCRIBES THE
REQUIREMENTS FOR A HIGH RELIABILITY P.C. DAUGHTER BOARD CONNECTOR
UTILIZING A BLADE AND TUNING FORK INTERCONNECTION SYSTEM. THE CONNECTOR
SHALL BE FABRICATED FROM LIGHTWEIGHT EXTRUDED ALUMINUM AND MUST MEET
THE FOLLOWING OPERATING CHARACTERISTICS: TEMPERATURE RANGE -550C TO
+1050C, CURRENT RATING (MAX) 3 AMPS (CONTINUOUS), VOLTAGE RATINGS
BETWEEN CONTACT AND HEADER 1000VAC @ 60 HZ RMS, INSULATION RESISTANCE
(MIN) 10,000 M OHMS, CONTACT INSULATION TO HEADER RETENTION FORCE (MIN)
7.5 LB, CONTACT RESISTANCE (MAX) 6 M OHMS, CONTACT LIFE (DURABILITY)
500 CYCLES. KEYING IS TO BE USER CONFIGURED SUCH THAT EACH PIN CAN BE
INDEXED IN ONE OF EIGHT DIFFERENT POSITIONS (KEYING PINS TO BE SHIPPED

is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the
format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation, supplemented with
information included in this notice. This solicitation incorporates
provisions and clauses at FAR 52.213-4 Terms and Conditions --
Simplified Acquisitions (FEB 1998), and any others that are applicable
and in effect through the current Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC)
and the Defense Acquisition Circular. It is the contractor's
responsibility to be familiar with all applicable clauses and
provisions. No RFQ will be prepared or made available. While price will
be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract
award will be based on a combination of factors -- a determination of
responsibility and technically acceptable lowbids. "Note 22 applies,
however, all offers received within 15 days (in lieu of 45 days) after
date of publication of original synopsis will be considered by the
