The work to be performed is located at Kanopolis Lake Project at Marquette Kansas.The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor and equipment to complete mowing and trimming of roadsides, open fields, and developed areas such as campgrounds, picnic areas, etc. Some areas will vary considerably in the amount of mowing because of obstructions, terrain and other requirements. May include limited amounts of cutting by hand where obstructions, rocks, stumps or incline may prevent access by machinery. May include partial mowing and trimming, or hourly equipment rental. Trimming around signs, along guardrail, around buildings, trees and park equipment or edging along sidewalks. One contract will be awarded for a fixed service requirements contract for base year April 1, 2000 through September 30, 2000 plus (3) three option years, if exercised by the government.Solicitation will be issued on or about 16 February 2000.
