The Volpe National Transportation Systems Center intends to purchase up to thirty-one (89) foot flatcars. The flat cars shall be standard 56-= inch gage with a minimum load capacity of 100 tons. Detailed specifications and minimum requirements will be set forth in the solicitation. The acquisition will be conducted using full and open competitive procedures . The subject solicitation and related documents will be available in electronic format only on the Volpe Center Acquisition Division home page on the World Wide Web.
