The Health Resources and Services Administration intends to negotiate on a SOLE SOURCE basis with the University of South Carolina, Department of Health Administration, School of Public Health, 800 Sumper Street, Columbia, South Carolina 29208. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in Part 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. The purpose of this procurement is to assess the contribution of National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Alumni to underserved rural communities and minorities. The contractor shall: conduct a study to measure systematically the contributions of NHSC alumni to underserved communities and minority populations at a county level in a state; prepare a draft and final report; and make additional study recommendations for NHSC program improvements. The University of South Carolina is deemed the only responsible source capable of providing the required work and services. The period of performance is forty weeks.
