The purpose of this synopsis is to revise the proposed Solicitation Issue Date and provide a proposed Site Visit date. On March 28, 1999 it was announced under the direction of the Department of Defense and Air Force, that Base Supply Functions at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska is to be the subject of an A-76 Cost Comparison Study. The Contract start date will be on or about 1 April 2001. The performance period will be a Basic Year plus Four Option Years. The Solicitation Issue date has been revised from on or about February 16, 2000 to on or about March 1, 2000 with proposals due approximately 45 days after the Request for Proposals (RFP) is issued. The Site Visit date is on or about March 21, 2000. Instructions for submission to include time and place are contained in the RFP. The proposed contract type is Firm-Fixed Price and the Solicitation will be UNRESTRICTED. All responsible sources may submit a written proposal, which shall be considered.
