Furnish and deliver the following types and quantities of aquatic herbicide: (a)16,640 lbs of SONAR SRP, packaged in 40 lb containers with active ingredient fluridone: (a)1 Methl-3-phenyl-5-(3-triflouromethyl)phenyl)-4(1H)pyridinone (Fluridone) at 5% by weight or 2 lbs active ingredient per container (b)125 gallons of SONAR A.S., in one gallon containers with active ingredient fluridone: 1-methyl-3phenyl-5-[3-(trifluormethyl)phenyl]-4(1H)-pyridinone at 41.7% by weight or 4 lbs active ingredient per gallon (c) 3250 gallons of AQUATHOL-K, in 2 1/2 gallon containers with active ingredient Dipotassium salt of endothall (7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2,3-dicarboxyclic acid equivalent 28.6%, containing 4.23 lb Dipotassium endothal per gallon (equivalent to 3.0 lbs endothal acid). This procurement is being conducted under the Test Program for Commercial Items. This is contemplated as a sole-source requirement from authorized dealers of Sepro, Inc., manufacturers of SONAR. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
