COMMERCE BUSINESS DAILY ISSUE OF FEBRUARY 17,2000 PSA#2539B -- CONTINUING OPERATION OF THREE(3)SPECIAL CRASH INVESTIGATION The
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration intends to negotiate
non-competitive extensions to existing contracts with Veridian
Corporation, Indiana University, and Dynamic Science Incorporated for
continuation of special crash investigation services within the United
States. The extension will allow for services to continue through
February of 2001. The extension is required to ensure needed services
continue without interruption and to allow for sufficient time for
turn-over of facilities and hardware from the current to the successor
contractors. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive
proposals nor is a Request for Proposal document currently available.
A separate notice will be published announcing availability of the
solicitation for the follow-on contract. It is anticipated that this
