Commercial item acquisition for casting of two (2) bronze figures from wax casts. Each figure is cast in multiple pieces. Foundary must enlarge each figure from a 30" maquette and cast in bronze. Figure #1: male leaning forward w/chainsaw. Figure #2: female bent forward w/spade shovel. Piece size: Heroic, 8'6". All figures will have a hard hat, back packs, and will be standing on a sloping base approx. 18" high. Welding of the pieces to create individual heroic size figures. Chasing of welds. Apply a 2-color hot patina to each figure. Crate and deliver to site at the National Interagency Fire Center, Boise, Idaho. Work must be completed and shipped by May 1, 2000.
