The Forest Service requires road maintenance (blading) on the Missoula, Ninemile, Seeley Lake, Superior, and Plains/Thompson Falls Ranger Districts, Lolo National Forest, Missoula, Powell, Mineral, Granite, and Sanders Counties, MT. Multiple awards are anticipated. Work includes blading and shaping the roadbed, including shoulders and turnouts, to restore and maintain the original cross section and grade of the road, and removing ruts, washes, sloughs and other irregularities that prevent normal runoff from the road surface. This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquistion Procurement (SAP) rules. Quotes are due March 28, 2000. The estimated start work date is April 25, 2000. The performance period is 60 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
