56 -- CONSTRUCTION AND BUILDING MATERIALS The National Park Service intends to award a sole source contract to Renew Plastics, a division of N.E.W. Plastics Corp, for furnishing steel-reinforced, recycled plastic fence materials for Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument, Colorado. This proposed action is for supplies and materials for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all expressions of interest received within 15 days of the date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received in response to this notice will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Description of the material to be provided is as follows: Recycled plastic post -- 5" diameter round with 2 3/8" OD galvanized pipe insert, 5' Length, 280 each; Recycled Plastic Rail -- 3 1/2" diameter round with 2 3/8" OD galvanized steel pipe insert, 10' Length, 525 each; Recycled plastic dimension lumber, 1" x 6" x 8' Nominal, 18 Each. All products shall be manufactured from 100% HDP (No comingled products) post consumer and post industrial recycled plastic, and must be earth tone-dark brown in color and have integral coloration.
