This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply for Logic Box, NSN 5998-01-358-6281, and Motor Controller, NSN 6110-01-356-9854. Both are P/O the36K BTUH, Air Conditioner (AC), Multiple Power Input (MPI). The government is attempting to locate sources who can provide any commercial or non-developmental items (NDI), or any modified version thereof, that can meet the Army's requirements. The Logic Box and Motor Controller are the most critical components of the 36K BTUH MPI AC. The MPI function allows the AC to operate from various input power sources without user interference. The Logic Box and Motor Controller act jointly to perform MPI signal processing; through these combined efforts, various input voltages and frequencies are converted to a common voltage and frequency. The government intends to purchase a maximum of 375 each Logics Boxes and a maximum of 250 each Motor Controllers over the next five (5) years. Any interested sources who believe they can supply such products that meet the U.S. Army's needs must send technical information to include, but not be limited to, detailed product specification, available test data, schedule availability, and cost information, NLT March 17, 2000, to U.S. Army, CECOM, CCS/Avionics Directorate, AMSEL-LC-CCS-G-EC, Ft.
