70 -- THE SCHNEIDER SYSTEMS, RESTACKER, AND DESTACKER SOL DABT63-00-R-1006 DUE 031300 POC Lutisha Hill, (520) 533-8994 (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, the test program in FAR Subpart 13.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number DABT63-00-R-1006 is used as a request for proposal (RFP). (ii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through the 1999 reissue of the FAR. (iii) GENERAL INFORMATION: The St. Louis/Arnold, MO NIMA facility's main mission is to produce publications and maps to be used by our armed forces. NIMA has a very sophisticated production system which constitutes the output of their LAN. In order to further automate the production process, NIMA has requested that a Restacker and a Destacker be purchased. The contractor shall supply the following list of products: CLIN 0001 Schneider Systems with apaper size of 48.03 x 64.57; CLIN No. 0002 Restacker (Model 3553); and CLIN 0003 Destacker (Model 3043). Please include all freight and installation charges. All items are requested as brand name only. Vendor will ship items to NIMA Attn: Tom Nauman 3838 Vogel Road, Arnold, MO 63010. Factors are listed in their relative order of importance. Price and ability to provide equipment in a timely manner, when combined, are significantly more important than past performance.
