This is a Commercial Item Acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Parts 12 and 14. Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, materials and supplies to trim grass around all installed upright headstones and flat grave markers at Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale (Long Island), NY 11735-1211. Contract covers base period June 1, 2000, (or date of contract award, whichever is later), through September 30, 2000, with two 1-year options to extend the term of the contract through September 30, 2002. This acquisition is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code 0782 and a size standard of $5 million are applicable.
