Allen, 949/425-7026 Due to severe time limitations, under the authority of FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling urgency, the Immigration & Naturalization Service intends to enter into a sole source contract to provide unarmed guard services at the INS Service Processing Center in El Centro, CA. The contractor will be the incumbent, United International Investigative Services, Inc.. The anticipated contract will commence on June 23, 2000 and will be awarded for a three month base period and a possible three month option. A five year contract (base period and four options) for unarmed guards at the El Centro facility is being solicited on a full and open competion basis under Solicitation Number ACL-0-R-0004 which was previously announced in the CBD on January 7, 2000.
