Initial contract shall be awarded for one year plus option to renew for up to 3 additional years. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the Uniform Appraisal Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions. Appraisals shall be in two areas of Northern California and possibly in adjacent states. Area A includes agricultural and transition lands throughout the Central Valley, wetlands, lands with waterfowl hunting highest and best use, coastal properties with development potential and lands with endangered plants or animals present. Area B includes environmentally-sensitive lands in the San Francisco Bay area. Selection will be based upon separate evaluation criteria in the two areas to be considered.
