This Solicitation and resulting Contract adheres to the format described in FAR 12.303 for the acquisition of Commercial Items. REQUIREMENT: The Desert Pacific Healthcare Network -- Network Business Center (NBC), a division of the United States Government's Deparmtent of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a requirement for a single level, multi-sectional, mobile/modular office structure totaling 3,600 square feet (sf). This temporary office structure requires Tennant Improvements and must be provided to VA under a Turnkey -- Full Maintenace Lease. The Turnkey -- Full Maintenance Lease includes site preparation (utility and telephone installation),Tennannt Improvements, delivery, set-up, repair, preventive maintenance of facility systems during contract term, and removal of the office structure and restoration of the site upon expiration of the contract. The mobile/modular office facility must meet all applicable VA, national, State of Nevada, and City of Las Vegas building and fire protection codes. All costs for the Turnkey -- Full Maintenance Lease shall be amortized over the two (2) year Base Contract Period and is payable by VA, monthly, in arrears. Option Year pricing shall reflect facility lease and maintenace costs only. Offeror is cautioned not to amortize full costs (site preparation, delivery, set-up, removal, and restoration) over a three (3) year period. SITE: The site for the leased interim office structure is the Northeast parking lot of the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHS) Addeliar D. Guy, III Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) located at 1700 Vegas Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89106. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The term of this contract will be from Jun 16, 2000, (or date awarded, whichever is later) through on or about (O/A) June 15, 2002, with one (1) Option Year available. SOLICITATION AVAILABILITY: The Solicitation will be available O/A Friday, May 5, 2000. Requests for the Solicitation must be made in writing.
