This project consists of providing and installing complete, labeled, tested, and operational gel-filled telephone cables between Bldg 126 and Bldgs 407, 413, and 415. This project will entail work in, but not limited to, the following disciplines: system layout; excavation; boring; physical installation of all duct work and cables; asphalt repair; cable termination, splicing, labeling, and testing; and the providing of electronic (CAD) and paper as-installed drawings at the completion of the project. This project is located at the 910 Airlift Wing (AFRC), Youngstown Air Reserve Station, 3976 King Graves Rd, Vienna OH 44473-5925 (Trumbull County). The performance period is 60 calendar days. The dollar magnitude is between $25,000 -- $100,000. The SIC Code is 1731, and the Size Standard is $7 million average annual receipts over the past three years. Contract award will be made as a whole to one bidder. The Request for Quote (RFQ) and Statement of Work (SOW) will be made available to interested parties through electronic data interchange. The RFQ will be issued via Electronic Posting System (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov on or about 17 May 00. The drawings are only available in hard copy. There is no charge for the drawings; however, contractors must request copies from the Contracting Officer in writing, at the fax or e-mail address above, citing solicitation number F33630-00-Q0007 and stating they are a prime contractor interesting in quoting. Verbal requests will not be honored. As hard copies of the drawings are limited, requests from contractors will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Contractors are also requested to provide their e-mail addresses and state whether they are considered to be a small business concern, a small disadvantaged concern, a woman-owned business concern, or an SBA certified HUBZone concern. Contractors are advised that in order to receive an award, they must be listed in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) database.
