Forces Command, Army Atlanta Contracting Center intends to procure, through the issuance of a commercial items solicitation, an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity type contract for pager services. The contractor will be required to provide local and nationwide paging services for various Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem, GA tenants and activities for a base year from 01 July 2000 through 30 June 2001 and three option years. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material, and airtime to maintain the operation of the most up-to-date pagers for Government personnel at Fort McPherson and Fort Gillem. An estimated 650 pagers to include Digital (Local) Pagers, Nationwide Digital Pagers, Local Alpha-Numeric, and Nationwide Alpha-Numeric, are required for this procurement. Offers may include purchase and airtime, lease or rental with airtime, or proposed combinations of approaches. Offerors will be requested to submit quotes for a commercial item pager that meets the minimum pager descriptionscontained in the statement of work. Quote evaluation will be based on unit price and past performance. Quotes from all responsible offerors will be considered. Multiple task orders will be made against the resultant contract via the use of the IMPAC credit cards. The IMPAC credit card will be used by multiple customers to order pager services and to make payment. The solicitation will be made available only via the AACC Homepage by May 15, 2000.
