Z -- NOTICE OF INTENT TO NEGOTIATE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT EXTENSION WITH MADISON SERVICES CORP FOR REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF 1,401 MFHU AT BEALE AFB The 9th Contracting Squadron, Beale AFB CA intends to negotiate and award on a sole source basis the extension of contract F04666-95-D0002 (currently expiring 31 May 00). The extension is intended to be awarded to Madison Services Corp, Madison MS for a period of four months to 30 Sep 00. The extension is required to continue support of MFH services at Beale AFB. Statutory Authority for this sole source extension is title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. The Government will take any responses received within 45 days after the date of publication of this synopsis into consideration.
