The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service -- Region 7 (Alaska) through this notice announces that the issuance and availability of Solicitation Number 701810R003 previously scheduled to be issued on approximately May 2, 2000, is delayed until late May or early June 2000. (1) Corresponding adjustments in the solicitation's performance work statement (regarding dates of performance) are being made to accomodate this delay. (2) If you have previously submitted a fax or e-mail requesting a copy of the RFP, you will be retained on our list and will be sent a copy of the RFP when it's issued. (3) If you have not yet requested a copy of the RFP, you may do so by submitting a fax to 907-786-3923 requesting a copy of RFP 701810R003 or by sending an email to the contracting officer and requesting a copy of the specific RFP. Aerial and Ground surveys shall be conducted at remote long range and short range surveillance radar sites in Alaska. Each offeror will have their proposals evaluated on technical approach, past performance, and price. The resultant award will be a performance based service contract.
