M204 SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT The Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to enter into negotiations with Computer Corporation of America (CCA) and issue a modification to contract number 500-95-0020 to extend the contract for a 24 month period from June 01, 2000 through May 31, 2001. The procurement will be conducted under other than full and open competition, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) for the following (Group 90) owned M204 software products: Advantage Series including: M204 Core System, Workshop and CICS; VTAM 1; ADV SQL CICS; RACF and HORIZON. The licenses are for proprietary software inclusive of annual maintenance and customer support for CCA software currently installed at the HCFA Data Center. Award to any other source would result in subtantial duplication of cost to the Government and unaceptable delays in fulfilling the Agency's requirements. If no affirmative written documentation is received within fifteen (15) days of this synopsis, HCFA will proceed with negotiations to issue a contract modification to Computer Corporation of America.
