Sources Sought Notice to Solicitation Reference Number F41652-00-W998 posted Apr 10, 2000 to rescind 100% Small Business Set Aside and change to read Competitive 8(a) Set Aside for Grounds Maintenance Service at Dyess AFB, TX. New Solicitation Number will be F41652-00-R0042. Services shall include but is not limited to the following: semi-improved, unimproved areas, mowing of grass, trimming around all obstacles (trees, hydrants, sign posts, flight line instruments, etc), the edging of all driveways and curbs, pruning, planting, care and relocating of all trees, shrubs and hedges, maintain the irrigation sprinkler system and policing base grounds. Grass clippings shall be mulched or removed so all areas are free of debris, damaged trees will be replaced. This acquisition is 100% 8(a) set aside under SIC 0782 with a $5 Million size standard. The proposed acquisition is for basic year plus four option years. The proposed acquisition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15-Contracting by Negotiation.
