The Nashville District is soliciting bids to provide approximately 85,000 to 90,000 linear feet of AT8x29.2 wall armor T-section in 60 foot lengths to be used on a new Kentucky Lock project. The proposal will include, the armor shape, surface blasting and applying a protective coating in accordance with specifications provided in the solicitation. The wall armor then shall be delivered to a site near Grand Rivers, KY, and stockpiled in a specified configuration. Solicitation will be available on or about 25 May 2000. Bids are to be received by the close of business (4:15 P.M. Central Time) 25 June 2000. Delivery will be required prior to 01 September 2000. This solicitation is full and open competition.
