proposed contract is 100% 8(a) competitive set-aside, under SIC Code
5812, the size standard $15.0 million. The Small Business
Administration Requirement Number assigned to this action is
1084-00-002423. There are no geographical restrictions under this
procurement. The contractor shall provide Full Food Services at the
United States Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Ketchikan,
Alaska. The successful offeror shall provide all labor, management,
supervision, personnel and other items as necessary in accordance with
the Performance Work Statement and contract terms and conditions. The
service will require the preparation of a comprehensive menu. Meals
are served 3 times a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The Coast
Guard will provide a complete dining facility, which shall be operated
and maintained by the contractor. The contemplated contract will be
firm fixed price. The periods of performance will include one base year
starting 1 October 2000 through 30 September 2001 with four one-year
options. Historical meal information, total yearly count: FY 96 --
19,815; FY 97 24,682; FY98 24,903; FY 99 22,428; FY 00 first five
months 12,670. The services will be procured using procedures under FAR
Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program
for Certain Commercial Items. Technical proposals will be required,
award will be made on Best Value to the Government considering Past
Performance and other factors. Offerors will be required to submit a
price proposal and a technical proposal under separate cover. Request
